In the next two months my '79 bus will be having her 2ltr (Carbie) engine and trans removed for a conversion.

I believe i have only done around 3000 kms since purchase in December '01. Odometer is fingered so i cant tell you exactly how far the engine has gone.

To be sold

- Trans:
2ltr, 4 spd manual. Seems fine, ive not had any problems aside from linkage adjustment. Believe it is a 091?
Including linkages, gear stick etc.
$550.00

- Engine:
I believe it needs a left head. Suspect there to be a crack in either cylinder 3 or 4 valve seat.
This will include all parts attatched ie, tins, dizzy, heater fan, tubing, airbox.
$600.00

- Fuel Tank. Carbie not EFI.
$100.00

I may still need the diff, driveshafts and misc. other parts. Will update when i find out.

Do you know what shipping of the gearbox to Perth would be?

2000cc turbo type 4, dragster (325Kw)
2714cc no turbo, no gas, street bug (140Kw)
