I walked out to the car park today and low and behold someone has stolen my valve caps with little VW embem on them! Oh is nothing sacred!
Who steals bits of another person's car? Honestly....

I was at my mum and dads house in Newy over the w/e and some one stole my chrome fuel cap off my panel van. It was the only dame good thing on it. And to make matters worse they took my bloody petrol as well.

I have lost 7 sets in the last few months. i have now gone back to the old black rubber ones and what do you know, there still there. been 5 days now. 😀

I caught a 13 to 15 year old stealing mine about two years ago, I said give them back.
He pulled about twenty valve caps out of his pockets and said witch ones are yours?
I said all of them and I kept the lot. hahahaha.

I've had my vw badge, petrol cap and petrol stolen by some punkass kids all in the same hit.. needless to say that was the last time i leave the van accessible from the road when i'm away up the mountain!

Yeah, I had cool chrome skulls on baja and we parked in main drag Newcastle.Came back an the ones on the passengers (or footpath ) side were gooone.Dam shiny thingy steelin mofo's!
yeah i used to have nice aluminium caps on mine but they usually disappear i figuesd out if you get metal valve stems which bolt into the rime fron the inside then u get the chrome valve caps which look a bit like a nut u can tighten them up with a small shifter then watch the little bastards try and undo them with there fingers

I had some cheeky little brat on his BMX come up to my car (with me in it!) and he said " I collect those caps".
So I said to him that I collect BMX bikes! He wasn't interested in my caps after that.
I have lost my valve caps a couple of times but now I tighten them up with the spanner and haven't lost any since. Just have to carry a little spanner now though.
