haha, cold, this morning its -3 here, i will be working out in it in 10 mins (8.15), i am building so the work keeps the heart pumping, i love it, being a pom spose i am used to it. hence why i live in Tassie..

May have only gotten to 7 in Brissy last night, but the wind chill outside last night would have taken another 5 deg off that I recon!

yeah, its pretty darn cold here in Toowoomba too (not sure on the temps), but Toowoomba's known for its icy winds 🙁
I'm going to Stanthorpe in two weeks time. It better not be that cold still with no snow. I want to see snow!!!!!!

Frack!! I had to actually turn on the elctric blanket last night.. and I was under a down doona!!! It was about 6 or 7 degrees out here (we are always about 1 or 2 degrees colder than the city!

It was so windy here yesterday afternoon I had to put 2 chains on the dog to stop him getting blown away! Nice this mornig but, crisp and clear- almost needed a jumper.

Hands up all of those people that drove a buggy (no roof, doors, etc) this morning in Canberra, when the temperature was 1 degree, and the gale that was blowing made a huge wind chill factor?

hate to say but ive had my electric blanket going for 2 months now.i blitzed the field last night i had 2 electric blankets 1 on top 1 under both on 3 and nice and warm with a big doona---------god i hate the cold

hey...took me ages but i finally discovered i have reverse cycle in my bedroom...(only been here at this place a year! I admit it...Im blonde as!)
So, my bedroom last nite...a nice 30 degrees........singlet, shorts & no blankets...woohoooooo :bounce
but damn...getting outside the bedroom was a killer in the morning!!
wonder if the kids would miss me if i hibernated to my bedroom until is warms up again...like October!!

What i really hate is when u have a beautifully warm shower, and you come out and ur freezing ur balls off in the cold. It so spoils the warmth in that shower.

riding in the cold is great fun isnt it tassupervee... though windproof doesnt mean squat!!!
i absolutely hate winter, i cant stand my feet being cold and i cant get enough layers on to keep warm... but...
i refuse to buy a heater, an electric blanket or warm my room and bed up with anything other than warm body/s and a hot water bottle. i live in a huge old queenslander with paper-thin walls and pine floorboards with cracks in them, set about 3 meters off the ground. it is absolutely freezing in here...
one good thing about it being so damn cold is that the neighbours have had to close their windows, which means i cant hear the snoring lady anymore!!! hurray! i can sleep peacefully for a few weeks out of the year!
