it's warm and sunny here in leopold!
since i;ve got my 5.5weeks holiday
*relaxes*
i've been doing stuff around the house. like earlier today, i had the jackhammer out, and dug the pit under the car out a little bit more (every bit helps)
i took the dog for a walk..and i only wore a short-sleeve shirt! *shock*
and i'm washing the golf as soon as mum gets home in preparation for the herbie cruise!

progress sounds good zac, your not wrong about the pit either every little bit of working space helps.

Okay, so I have a gearbox being rebuilt properly (not that I am a complete numpty, but I was wondering what all those bolts were really for 😊) and a set of mangels (if I can get to the right house at the right time. Now I also have lined up a set of type 3 rear drums in wide 5 pattern, so thats the rear set done once I pick them up (oh, and pay for them!!)
Anyways, I am now contemplating a ragtop for Osama, anyones comments? (Osama is my square okay..🥷) I was sort of worried about the theft situation, but if I put a roofrack on, you'd have to be smaller than anything to get in via the roof.
What about leaks?? anyone who has or has had one, please let me know.

Been busy with work, although the last couple of days have been a bit of a wash out. Im just going down the road soon to buy some new bolts for the rear torsion bar bush covers, Im putting new rubber bush's in her. Im also doing a few things I have put off for a while.

She is comming along nicely, I think your gunna have major jealosy problems from the Beetle soon, the Notch is getting quite a bit of attention. I love to see Notch's getting loved. They are a great car and a bit under rated I feel. It would be good to start to see them rivaling Beetles and Kombi's in numbers at shows again.
