I just found out that it also means i need a switch to turn on everytime i go to reverse so i think i'll give it a miss as i'll probably never remember anyway!!!!Might take my bumpers in to the chromers tomorrow,can't wait to see them all nice & shiny!!

ok ill spill it i didnt wanna jinx myself but here it is.....
afater looking at my 62 ong and hard and working on it many a hours, ive decided that with my budget and time frame that id be better off with a more complete car, SOOOO ive been checking beetle's out and ive seen quiet a few but for the $$ i dont think they are worth it, then i herd word throught the grapevine of one near my old house.......
i went this morning and saw it but no one was home so i went this afternoon.....the wife was there t\but the hubby wasnt, so im going AGAIN after dinner.
its a 64 model, with over riders and towel rails, needs a little bit of rust work but is way ahead of my bug i have atm.
so ll go 4 anoother squiz later tonight and check all the spot i couldnt see earlier (the doors were locked) but i may have a beetle on the road very soon 👍

No further progress on the splitty,just little bits & pieces.He painted the petrol tank white & it looks rreally cool.The enging bay is painted black.We put the motor back in & she started first go,what a little beauty heh.😍
At work today i was working down the back of the factory where i don't usually go & on my t break i wandered out the back to have a gander & i found an absolute treasure trove.There was a massive shed filled with all these really old cars,i meann heaps of them some looked like from the 40's 50's & they all belong to the owner.I didn't get a really good look but i'm going to have a chat to him & see if he can give me a tour & a lowdown.I reckon from just what i saw theres some really rare cars in there.
