how fast do you have to go to get a chook through the windscreen❓ thats insane
I wonder if the driver got sprayed with much blood, hmmm.
Anyways, just to ad another note to this thread, my dad and I hit a bird on our windscreen cruising 110ks on the highway from North Brisbane after an interschool soccer match, and our car and the bird were traveling in opposite directions, and there was no damage at all, not even a crack or scratch (from what we saw).
All there was was a big thump and a trail of greasy muck (no blood) sliding across the window. This porsche much have been flooring or somethign to get straight through, not even a crack, but an actual SMASH THROUGH the screen is quite incredible.
I'm willing to clean up that porsche if they were to give it to me for free he he, Lol 😀

Apparently the "Hard Luck" story at Valla a few years ago was a kombi that hit a cow on the highway near Byron Bay, pushed the front panel in a fair bit but didnt look like it damaged the interior....but the funniest thing was there was a sticker on the dash saying "Have you had enough milk?" from a milk campaign at the time.... 😂

mynameischris88 its most likely that the bird he hit was alot larger than the one u hit, F=ma....
at least it would have been quick and painless for the poor birdie
the driver would be still picking the feathers out of their teeth, might wipe the smile off the face for awhile
looks fake to me.. dosent look like there is much of a clean patch on either headrest - maybe a midget was driving?

I saw a really bad prang about 12 months ago. A car and a horse. The horse was on the roof of the car (dead) and the driver and passenger were stuck inside the car and had to be cut out. Wasnt a real pretty site.

This guy must have been doing over 200kmh but do you notice there is no other damage to his car!
With a shock like that he could still pull it up without damage. Amazing.
You would have to sell it though.

That is quite a big bird!
Big difference to hitting a sparrow or crow or some such...

Poor bugger. He only had the shirt he had on too ... and it had holes in from putting out the little firs he kept getting from the dash wiring.
I'm sure he was sick of the Mooo calls over the weekend.
