i am in urgent need of a drivers side door latch in newcastle for my 63 bug,have tried adjsuting the striker plate but the triangular latch in the door is too warn and floppy,as a reslut my dorr will not stay closed without the help of 2 occy straps.pls help,ill pay watever i need to.isaac

yeah had that prob on a 60 model a few years back
and what do you know did the occy strap thing..
it was frustrating finding the bit in the door but triumphed eventually..
good luck man..
yeah i 1st thought it was the striker plate too, went and brought a new one, attached it and beaut..
drove around the corner and nearly fell out of the damn thing.. :cussing

yeh i got a new striekr plate and it held for a little while,then came open,ahwell hopefully something will come up somewhere..
