It's an accelerator lever thingy. Should the plate be facing the other way? Seems like the lever could do with a return spring...nn[ Edited on 5-7-2005 by oval TOFU ]

yep. Its upside down and back to front, I think..
The little punched out bit is there as a stopper for the lever..
This is from memory may be wrong.
The return spring in on the carb.

I was thinking the same. Definitley wrong way around but pretty sure it is upside down as well.
