Kombi Gearbox flanges

Just wonderng if kombi flanges will fit on to a Irs beetle box? Any one know

the internal spline size is different from type1 to type2 an easier way to fit t2 cv's on a t1 g/box is to use 181 flanges or have the t2 ones spun off and welded to the t1 flange...hope that makes sense cheers steve
