Greetings,

I have some creative 'late' 64-67 safari wiper arm disengagers for Leo the 62 twin cab...I can't round
up a set (orig or repro) of the correct 'early' 'pull and turn to engage' type
so I've got to use the creative........

Unfortunately my 'early' NOS Trico wiper arms aren't going to fit on em easily
and I thought I'd try and find the arms the creative disengagers were
actually made for
before modifying my NOS early arms ($$$$) or the creative
disengagers...

Who can tell me what the wiper arms below are off? Note
the lower arm detail and the screw-in oval shaped blade
attachment gizmo.

I've seen em on US splitbusses but never on a splitbus here?
I'm wondering if they were used on any year beetle here
(I know little about beetles) and/or if they were still available?

??????

thanks

RobK

rob the blade holders in the photo are indeed bus ones,in australia before the local content rule increased these were fitted as std..from my info somewhere around 58-59 the local product was fitted. early bug up to 59 also used the same base..these were swf babies only the blade and arm lenght differed....have some swf ones if you need em cheers steve ps swf still make these blades
