OK, so who’s staying up and watching the Tour de France bike race?? As an avid cyclist I have been watching the coverage on SBS.
It’s amazing to see the number of VW campers by the side of the road. Funny thing is the most common seems to be T3’s, closely followed by T4’s. Have only noticed on T2 and last night finally spotted a splitty up in the mountains. Must have been an achievement to get a splitty up into the alps!

I'm sure that one of the new channel ten promos has a convertible Karman Ghia in it!
To much time on some peoples hands i reckon.

We make it happen!
Always make time for the Tour, seeing VW's is an added bonus 😏
yeah great
Please, I need drivers side window regulator (winder mechanism) for my '54
I thought I was the only one spotting kombis de Francais. Makes it even better. Last night I think I saw a T3 Syncro camper. I.m sure the fuel filler was at the rear, but I only saw it for a wee sec. My darling wife reckons she is married to a complete maniac now.
has anyone else seen the cast from everyone loves raymond in the orange karman ghia on the new channel 10 ad?

This week I watched Jamie Oliver's show (The naked chef). In the episode he was cooking a roast for Jamiroqui (sp?) so he had to drive hsi sweet looking splitty to their mansion. They showed the splitty a lot. Blue/white lowered with fuchs. I wonder if he still has it?
