a pom told me that it had an awsome t4 turbo in it when jamie bought it and he swapped it out for a porsche motor. not sure about the accuracy of this tale, although the informant was a vw nut....

The van originally had a turbo type 4 in the van it was built by Mat Keene, Jamie bought it from him about 2 years ago. Dont know about now, a few months ago Jamie did a tour of Italy in it and filmed the whole thing for a new show, he was cooking around differant places as he went.
Mat has a section in Volks World mag, and is well kown in the U.K. for his turbo engines.
