Could anyone running these tyres please post a pic as I'm considering them for my 5.5 rims.
Cheers.
G'day,
yeah i've got them on the wifes '70 Beetle on 5.5" Empi style 8 spokes, they're absolutely perfect tyre on the front and the car looks great with 195/60 Contis on the back, good balance front to back with car lowered also. Sorry no pics as car is in Vic and we're in NT, but go for it.
Cheers.

Ive got Michos 145 on 5.5 inch alloys they fit up OK
Desert Bug any tips on a place to get them from/price?
Thanks Dave, but the Continentals have a lower profile.
Try an Independant Tyre place that deals in all brands, I paid $145 each from memory.
As Dave says the 145 Michies fit ok on the 5.5s, but the Conties have a bit wider tread (similar to 165 Michies) and Michies are 80 profile where the Conties are 65 profile. The 145 Michies were about $115 when we got the Continentals.
Cheers.

Conts ..not mitch...k
Thanks man.
ps: that thing is sweet!!!!
dont run skinny tyres on wide rims!! its very f%^king dangerous we were sitting in the lounge last night and we heard a loud bang one of dads mitchies blew a sidewall luckily the car was sitting in the driveway and wasnt getting driven and this was a 165 on a 5.5j brm rim so a 145 would be deadly i had 145`s on 5.5 brms and i was scared about going over 25kms around a corner just incase the tyre rolled of the rim be careful go low profiles it may not look as good but its safe remember if a tyre blows of the rim whilst your driving your insurance will be gone and you will be without a car!!
i will try to find a pic of dads rim for you all.
mattie
stuipid beetle breaks everytime i drive it.....
Hey Kieran are your rims 5.5 or 4.5?
