For those of you who are not aware Custom Offroad Components is currently in the process of having a huge clean up and moving to no 30 Hayward St. That is the shed behind where we are now. Due to this we will probably continue to be a little slow in answering emails and posting on the forum until mid next month.
We will continue to trade throughout this period and the mailing address / phone numbers and email will remain the same. The new shed will be completely setup and we will be back better than ever by mid August. We hope that the new shed will better meet our growing needs and allow us to offer a better range of services and higher quality products. Increasing our internet presence, mail order options and carrying a larger range of restoration parts and services. We will also be introducing a few new products to our range to complement our existing parts.
As a result of over 30 years of working on VW's and retiring numerous makes and models we have quite a lot of surplus VW stuff we no longer need. So if you are looking for something or just like the idea of sorting through heaps of VW stuff then we will be holding a garage sale on Sunday 24 Jul 05. Basically everything we want to move on will be sitting in the front shed in piles with prices on it. There will be a $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50 piles and a few item that will be individually priced. There will also be a FREE pile.
Stuff we will be offloading will include but not be limited to:
Workshop tools and equipment - most old, broken and past its used by date for commercial use, fine for fix up or home use.
Old shelving and cupboards priced to move.
VW Panels
VW wheels and tyres , lots of odd sizes and rims.
Air cooled VW parts to suit Kombi, beetle, type 3 early and late.
Engines, carbi's, tinware
Piles of Crap ….
All parts will be pick up only and it really is a case of come and look as we will not be posting parts or sorting through trying to find a particular part to answer someone enquiry. We are looking at moving bulk stuff quickly and easily and the prices will reflect this desire.
For those of you who have been to the shop you will know there is VW stuff everywhere. Much of which we do not need, use or even know is there.
The stuff we keep, will be cleaned, catalogued and listed on the website in our new 2nd VW parts section. Once organised we will begin our collection again in a more organised fashion.
Hopefully I will see a few of you there.
Thanks for your support.
Please don't U2U or email us asking for stuff as our net access will be very limited for the next few weeks while we re-route cables
Cheers,
Brad, Dave, Terry and Pete
