HARMLESS! Not if you tripped over it and got those fangs locked on your arse. cant be an electric fence can it? its tied to reo and belted into the ground, its already earthed... cant get zapped. It doesnt look like the elec fence on my mates farm... the one that made me thorw my shoulder out. (funniest home video moment)
on second look maybe the wires that arent on the main tall fence are elec. Why does the main fence have a wire at ground level though? trying to stop things digging out?

Maybe the electric fence isn't earthed, so the animal would have to touch two of the wires at the same time.....
Its certainly been designed for some purpose..... maybe for a hard hooffed animal????

goat and sheep farmers usually have elect fences set up like that.. keeps small dogs out and big ones to ,,but.what a speed bump if you drove over the thing

Looks like it needs to touch two wires to create a circuit.
The snake has made it thru as far as its body width would
allow, but when its gotten to the width of touching two
cables at the same time, thats when things have gotten
ugly.
Thats how i see it anyway. Dunno, never touched or want
to touch a bloody electric fence!

Its a standard electric fence. I have put op 100's of km of the stuff. You have 4 down low, 1 at 0.5m from the main fence,
one on a stand off 0.2m of the fence on each side. Thats 4.
If you look closly up higher you will see another 2 stood off the same distance.
Combined with at least 10 plain wires it is a very serious fence, at considerable cost.
One would assume what ever it is trying to keep in and protect from dogs, dingo's pigs is valuable, ie stud animals.

The fences on my mates farm arent that extreme, I guess it depends on what you are fencing in/out.
He has just 2 electrified wires, amongst a few barbed wires.
You dont need to be silly to touch the lectric ones, just unfortunate. I was climbing through the fence,
trying not to lose my testicles on a barbed wire, when my shoulder (which was fully tensed pushing down
on the barbed wire) touched the upper leccy one. Ouch. Apparently, if your muscles are relaxed and you
touch the wire, it doesnt give much of a shock at all, although I didnt try it.
He also has temporary ones that are a plasticy ribbon with stainless steel wire running through them and
you hook it to the permanent fence. Every time I unhooked the fence to drive through he would laugh at me
because I held it way out from my body. And this was before I got zapped. Wasnt till later that I realised
once I unhook it, theres no power to it. DUH!
