Same old boring cars? Over and over?

I haven't repeated a story yet and got more variety than you can poke a VW dipstick at.

There is so much in the Mk2.

Totally changed my opinion of them. Alex has done an excellent job it! One of my favourites for a long time - always thoght they were a good car but have never seen them come up so well as this one.

There was a slight technical hitch with the classifieds. This has now been repaired.

Four ways:

1. Send in the form from the magazine

2. Print and send in the form from the web

3. Call me office hours Monday to Friday 0419 735 595 and I'll organise it over the phone.

4. Email details and credit card info to editor@vwma.net.au

All's cool!

Hey everyone, Gary from Wolfsburg has some special wheel deals. They didn't quite make this issue, so they've been posted on the VWMA website until Issue#8.

Check them out!

Along those lines I have had a few forum members tell me they want to see cars like mine in there. I guess it is one of the most modified vw's out there.

I email the editor with pics and stories but didn't hear anything back. The offer is still there.

I've got the pics and story. Magazine mathematics at play though - quarterly publication, Aussies starved of home grown reading material, too many stories - means there's a bit of a que. Michelle Burke with the camper in this issue waited patiently for six months. It will happen. I'm still sorting through all the VW shows and contacts from 2004, including the Nationals and the forum!!

Thanks guys.

Glad you like.

Publishing is a tough game, but my head is still above water. Makes it easier when I also enjoy driving what I am writing about.

Oh, and today at the Shannons Historical Race Meet, my Kombi Double Cab collected Best VW Kombi in the Show and Shine. This is my first trophy, and I'm stoked.
