just got my photos back from the chemist today... had a mishap with the first roll of film (which was a dissapointment as it had some awesome photos!!)
but the second roll seemed to be alright apart from some interesting (and avoidable with a lens hood) light artifact from the polariser filter... so after a quick midnight scanning and photoshop session, we have a fine selection of photos for your enjoyment.

they are all waaaay too big to post here, but you can find them on my flickr page...

im really getting into photography as a hobby, and any comments or criticisms are more than welcome so let me know what you think!

Hey starbug.

The photos have come out pretty good.,
Certainly some artistic shots which is what i wanna see. 🙂

Its not about whether the photo comes out or not but more so that your having a go and trying new angles and enjoying yourself. I give it a thumbs up.
Love the shots of 2 ghias in one photo, stepped effect i guess you would call it.

I love photography and have 2 cameras, a Ricoh film slr and a Olympus C-8080 series 8mp digital...

Which do you prefer? digital or film?
Nothing beats a good film photo but saves heaps being able to delete the not so good photos with the digital option.

Keep em coming! :thumb :P

Its a shame about the lense flare in the (gia-61) photo.
Its looks f**ken horn! Ya got the right idea and getting the right angles.... you should of made him move the car somewhere else. :P

Sun can be a bitch at the worst times.....
Know all about it!, trust me.

The photos are great Starbug. I also love photography. I am currently changing over to digital, hard to let the old Nikon film camera go, but my new Nikon d70, is amazing. It still has far more functions and dials that I can remember to use. But the weddings I have done with it have turned out great.

thanks for the kind comments guys... 😀 i'll keep practicing, though i need more shows to do that!

im saving up to go digital, if i do well at uni this semester i will treat myself to a d70s, and if i dont do so well, i have to wait till my birthday! im chosing nikon over the canon in the same price range, while the canon has more megapixels, the nikon is more sturdily built and i can attach all my f-mount lenses to it after i have them converted.

i just bought the legendary nikkor 105mm f/2.5 telephoto/portrait lens on ebay last week for an absolute steal and i cant wait to take it out and see what magic i can spin with it...

Great job Starbug.
Good to see some artistic shots of these beautiful artworks on wheels!
Be sure that Craig from VMA sees these he is doing a story on the Karmann Kruise and might be keen to use some of them.
These are calendar/postcard material!!
I'm pleased you enjoyed the run. I hope to double the number next year!
Well done.
