Spent a bit more time there and got a few bits for myself that I didn't rteally need and a few that I did. When I asked about tinware and a bit for my pedal cluster I was told to go upstairs and have a dig around for the bits. Got them eventually and decided to buy boxes of drum brake cylinders, got it all for $10 so i can't complain, I think I ended up buying the boxes and was just amused about what was in there!!
Saw vwombat (he came down from the hills with tribe in tow) and Andy there as well.

I wish I could of stayed around longer and picked up some of the stuff they would eventually throw out...not to mention what they had in there scrap bin.
Hey I was just thinking aswell....this little group has a sub-group who also own type 3's except for pyro and rob...come on you two your not pulling your weight.

Today me and Fleur went to the winery where we had our wedding five years ago and had a lunch there with a couple of our friends who were in the wedding party.
I had a photo shoot from a car mag set up for late afternoon for the Limo, but being typical Melbourne it pissed down and the last shots were called off 🙁

Mmmm, but mind you when I passed the Karana Downs turn off this morning I thought I was following you for a while. Brown beetle, but he turned into the bus depot near the shell station. Semi decent fog near the back gate, have the lights been on in anger yet????

yep...usually turn them on every morning now...I think when you drive a black car you need all the visibilty you can get.

I haven't seen the 69 beetle yet, and this one had the smaller tail lights 🙂
(and I was being polite and not mentioning that the driver ha white hair..... from someone without hair I thought that was a bit rich)

Man... Jodie and me actually went out on friday night! went to currumbin RSL and watched two jazz bands. My nephew was working behind the bar, so I got a few freeby's. had a joyous pizza and plenty of bundy rums. Forgot how good live music was.
Then on sunday I was voted in as the President of our Vintage car club. Great weekend for me!

Went to a hot rod show last weekend and they had this band playing called the 10-4's. They were playing some of the best rock and roll i've heard. None of the main stream stuff. Was a guy playing a big double bass and it just made for a fantastic atmosphere.
