As the subject line says, whats wrong with it?

Whilst looking through used Beetle Ads I found 2 new 2003 Beetle's under $14.000!! both very low milage.

Maybe neither had an engine?🙂

Has to be a typo.

Have never seen a NB that age for that cheap unless it was accident damaged.

Some times you can just get lucky🙂 Divorce, need cash etc

A couple of weeks a go I had a guy drop off a centre console boat with 40hp motor, 2 years old for my local surf club to sell or use as we want and it was FREE! Worth around $10,000:jesus

Partnership breakup!

I know two people who couldn't wait to get rid of theirs. Offered them for 10k so they didn't have to see them again!

OK, I finally received a reply from one of the "owners' of the super cheap New Beetles. The other has been removed from the site.

Looks like the 'Nigerian Bank' scam boys have found another interest

For those who want to check it out....

This is the reply, Y'know I never knew that Berlin was on the Sth Coast of NSW!

Hello there and thanks for your interest.
I'm very glad that you like my car and I can only say that you have good taste about cars! The price I want to obtain for it is AU $13,500 (this price includes shippment and insurance charges).I will ask a deposit of Au $ 4,000 prior to shipping and the balance upon dellivery and inspection of the car.If you are not 100% content with the car, you will ship it back on my expense to get your deposit back. I am sure this will not happen, because it is a state of the art vehicle and you will have no reason to reject it.
The car is like new, completely working, low kms, 2003 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE model. It has always been garage kept. It is an AU model with AU specs and you will have no problem registering there.
Shipping will be done via TNT-Carrier Air Cargo from Berlin,Germany and it will take no more then 7 days for the car to arrive at the delivery location. The car is in the crate at the shipping company with all the papers inside and I just need your full name and shipping address so I can sign in for the shipping papers and I will send you the tracking number for the package so you can check the status of the car. I am in the Military and TNT-Carrier will manage me a low price for shipping and if you will pay the money transfer taxes, I will pay for the shipping fees. I will arrange for you not to pay any duties when the car will pass through customs. In this way the car will be delivered to your home address. This is a overseas purchase and I would like to use a third party for this transaction as I want a smooth and safe transaction. We will use Square Trade, I have completed a lot of successful deals using them. I have a Purchase Protection Account for $20,000 and I assume you know what this means. If this is your first time using Square Trade here are their terms: if you will not receive the car exactly as advertised or you won't receive it in 15 days since you made the deposit, Square Trade will refund you from my account.
If you agree with these terms, please reply with your full name, home and shipping address in your next email so I can register the transaction with Square Trade asap.
Regards,

That all sounds a bit dodgey. I am not really into buying things that I can't play with first.

I have an 03 New beetle and it rocks ! I still love it as much today as I did when I first bought it:kiss

You wouldn't have for those... they bought a matching pair. Electrical problems, auto trans problems, windscreen fell out of one.

Seat came off the floor of the other!

Spent more time at the dealer than in their possession.

Sold the two and bought an earlier Passat. They loved that.
