do you mean a 10" band or a 10" tyre on say an 7 or 8 " band ?

I will have 7 or 8" rims that take 10" tyres but haven't seen a 10" band for years on a bug centre

No im after 10" wide rims/bands but I will consider 9" wide rims/ bands if I can find them. Im looking at fitting 32/11.5/15 tyres on them when i do find the rims to fit them on.

a 10in rim is too big for that tyre
i have the same on my baja on 8in rims

you wouldnt need such a wide rim be cause you need the bulge

but each to there own
every one has there own ideals
i,ve never seen a 10in rim on a street car before

I ran tyres that size on 10 inch wide rims for a few years..
No problems at all..
The tyres were Cooper Discoveres... It looked great and the tyres lasted a long time...
Those rims were cut and widened standards though...
(We were talking about this on another forum tonight), and they are not legal for street use, although that didn't stop me....👍😁nn[ Edited on 29-7-2005 by WABaja ]
I hate to admit it, but man, I think you're right....

i have 9.75 inch rims with 31x10.5r15. is this why i got to let them down to 4lb to get them bagging.

see below, old photo but my 31s look skinny against the 31s on the baja that are on 8" rims.

fair enough then. 8" is as big as I have / make

I run a 32 x 11.5's on an 8" rim though as that way it is legal in QLD and legal for the rubber size. I air down to 6 psi and have never had a tyre slip or spine off.

You can buy 10" bands from ROH if you deceid you want to make some. They ar elike $130 ea though so it maybe cheaper to just get some widened.
