I just have ti share thsi with you all... I have just had one of the most senstaional days! I was invited to climb the Harbour Bridge with a german here on holidays. What an amazing view! All I can say is, if you ever get the opportunity, DO IT. Beg, borrow, steal the $160... it is money well spent!

And Macca... thanks mate, it was f-n excellent!

COUGH GAG $160!!!!!!!!!!!! when did it go up? I thought it was a rip off at $95.

when I say rip off, I know it would be awesome, i just think they are making waaaayy too much profit.

Cost... You get overalls and a beanie which must be washed, radios and safety equipment that must be paid for, stainless cables and the little clever rolly connector thingo that is probably $500, all which have a 'life' and must be inspected and replaced at regular intervals... and it takes nearly four hours. I reckon it's good value, actually!

Lisa and I did the bridge climb a week and a half ago for my 40th ......... What a wonderful experience !! takes about 31/2 hours from when you walk through the door to when you leave . Would recommend it to anyone at all !! Extremely well organised and run , had a terrific guide . The only thing they didn't tell us is that we wouldn't be able to walk for the next 2 days........... must be just gettin old !!

I did the Bridge Climb in 2000 During the Games...
The most awesome experience...!!!!!
I did the "Twilight Climb", where you go up in the day light, see the sun set and then get to see all the lights of Sydney before going back down...
One of THE Best things I have ever done...!!! Totally loved it... Oh and BTW, I Wouldn't climb a ladder at home, but up on that bridge, you feel Very Safe, so if Vertigo is a factor, don't let it worry you, The sights will over power the fear....
Brilliant thing to do...
I hate to admit it, but man, I think you're right....
