why a 1800 what are you doing with it there may be better options

well thats what i have now and it's on its very last legs so i need a new old one ASAP and i thought that this would be a good option?
i have heard that an 1800 is the best one to get? or should i just have my original 1800 box reconditioned?
i'm really not too sure about motors and gear boxs

I have an 1800 box, clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. The box I can't give any 'perfect just been reco' guarantee on, but was working and changing gears last time it was used.
My details are all there in the thread, or U2U me. The only hurdle I see is that you are in Sydney, and it is a real pain for me to send something that large. I used my last favour sending freight about a year ago sending stuff up to Brad for the EJ22 conversion.
