my pet hates are the following:
ppl wanting to travel 100 in an 80 zone on the freeway just cause the speed used to be that along that stretch of road.
ppl that don't indicate
ppl that talk on phones while driving
ppl that don't buckle young kids up.
ppl that pull into my car park space hit my car and keep driving forward into their park spot and don't leave a note.
trucks and cars that sit up the arse of my car will i am stopped at lights or driving.
impatient drivers who beep me when i am giving way at a round about.
and the list goes on. I hate driving in traffic. other drivers annoy me so much.
In my commute to work every day I get wankers who slow down to 50 when we get to the 100 zone but do 100 in the 80 zone .
People who talk on the phone and change lanes without realising they are doing it.
Fog lights when there is no fog !!! Find the DAMN switch !!! Maybe I should carry a smalll hammer and fix them at the next red light.
People who don't look when changing lanes or going through roundabouts or at give way signs. I'm pretty easy to see (Big White station wagon). When you pass them they look at you like your some sort of idiot after they have almost caused an accident.
Last but not least are the cars that come screaming past me on the right and then cut me off so they can turn left at the next exit when there is a 100 metre gap BEHIND me. Same cars do it every day. I guess some people are just born stupid.

Here's a usless piece of information, there's a chick who got commissioned to do a study on exactly that, she got about 3 mill. Anyrate the theory relies on a finite amount of space and adding cars to that space all moving at the same speed. Like a round track. If you keep adding cars and the track dont get any bigger it clogs. But here's the pisser, b4 it clogs the first car will catch the last car and when it does it has to slow. The 2nd car slows so it doesnt hit the first and so on.
like ripples on a milk pond that slowing moves back car to car and continues regardless of what happens to the front car.
Thats why there is, more often then not, nothing doing after waiting for ages on the freeway.

Definitley get very riled up about people driving without making sure their kids are buckled up. If I get next to them at the lights I beep the horn, point at the kid and lift my seatbelt to show them. Do people realise they get the fine as the driver, apart from that it is just stupid.

the only reason i pulled in there..was so that i didn't block the road..and i reversed out in under 30secs..stupid woman..

happened to me the other day whilst driving home... following a female driver (had to put that in!) with two passengers, the one in the back is not behind the driver... so as the driver is going along doing 80k's she proceeds to turn around to face the person in the back whilst she is supposed to be looking where she is going!!! i was thinking "holy crap this is an accident looking for a place to happen" so i backed away waiting for it... she almost clipped the gutter twice and almost ran into the car in front of her but she still persisted with turning to face the person she was talking to. needless to say i took an alternate route home!

If someone is tailgating me, I just let my foot off the accel until they pass. If that means getting down to 50kph, I do it.

I just drove from the Sunshine Coast to Nowra yesterday (1250km) and have a few to contribute.
1. The right hand lane thing......It is not f*#king Conrod straight, the speed limit still applies get off my arse i will pass the person in the left lane then get back over.
2. It is day light, you don't need your f*#king high beam on you stupid wanker.
3. I'm with hellbus, tailgate me and i go slower.
4. If there is a car infront of you, turn off your high beam.
5. Leave learner drivers alone, I hope someone hassles your kids when they learn to drive.
6. Old people.......hmmmm please travel when i am not on the road, thankyou.

Non violence is the right way to handle things in my opinion. You just never know when you shape up in anger and the other party might just be better or sicker and you then have yourself in a situation that is not pretty.
You're right. Despite having the baseball bat under the bed I havent used it just yet. Going one on 5 would be foolish, even with the said bat. So who's up for forming a large vigilante group?

A guy I know that actually plays baseball, had a bat in his car and pulled it out on someone one day. Before he knew it the other guy had taken it off him and had him on his arse. True martial arts skill at work. Muttering something like "You are so lucky I have got self control" Needless to say he got back in his car and drove away very quickly.
He keeps his baseball gear in the boot now with no intention of taking it out. He was pretty embarrassed and even a bit shamed about what happened as he didn't tell anyone about it for a few months
