What shits me in traffic is 4WD's with blank lights on the rear pillars, and the only ones that work are the pissy little ones on the bumper! If your more than one car back noone has a clue what there doing😬

you have a line of traffic, doing 100km/h (roughly). 2nd car in line gets a bit too close to 1st car and slows down, to , say, 95, just for a moment to drop back. now 3rd car is too close to 2nd car and he slows down more, to 85. now 4th car is too close and slows to 80. now 5th car is too close and slows to 70. this goes on and on until traffic is crawling along.

the thing that is shitting me most at the moment are police. They seem to have no regard to the rules at all. U turns at traffic lights (illegal here) speeding generally, speeding through school zones, running red lights. A while back I was sitting in a right turn bay when a cop did a big burnout u turn and almost cleaned up the car in front of me when he lost it. When I went to report it they didnt want to know unless I made it official and provided all my details. Hmmmm no I didnt like the sound of that. The officer I spoke to said he is allowed to do it. I asked if he was allowed to do it without lights or sirens and nearly kill someone in the process (an exageration sure) but then he wanted to know who was killed. I knew then that I wasnt going to get anywhere. What I need is an in car camera like the cops have to catch these buggars out and hand it over to ray martin.
I have no problems with people being booked for doing the wrong thing so long as they dont drive off and do the wrong thing themselves.

I really despise people who park in disabled parking spots when they dont have permits. But what sh*ts me beyond belief is that I know a woman who still has her dead father's disabled parking permit AND USES IT!! She is not disabled, she is young and healthy.
I know another woman who has a disabled parking permit for her mother who uses it when her mother isn't in the car with her.
People like that sh*t me beyond belief.

I coach soccer and at the weekend i had a game.. kids played i ran around ref'ing and being blown over but frezzing cold winds... walking back to my ute some big flabby wanker is useing it as a chair... i get to the car with my 9 year old aqnd ask him to " kindly not sit on my car as its not a chair) to which he replyed whats the problem its only a paice of shit( it is but hey not for him say and a dual cab ute with air for 600 bucks cant be knocked)..i told him that i would wait till he returned to his car and sit on that .. he didnt like that much...

Years ago (as a minor, admittedly i would ahve passed for early 20s) I was on a train. I was approached by 3 guys in their mid 20s, all smelt of beer.
No one else in the lower part of the carriage.
They asked to see my ticket.

We are approaching a station and I am trying to stall these guys. Platform... slowing. I get up bound up the stairs. I am ankle tapped and crash down into the doorway. Several kicks to the guts and I am rolling out the door onto the platform. I get up and manage to clean one up while trying to keep the other two at bay. A few people are watching but not gonna help - don't blame them in some way.
Eventually I can't keep the 3 off me and I am face down over a fence. Next thing I have a gun on my cheek and cuffs on.
They turn out to be pissed representatives of NSW finest!
Straight to cop shop... make a complaint. They blow it off and pretend they are interested. My dad knows a cop at another shop... make second complaint there and a proper statement is taken and photographs of the cuts on wrist and the impression of the gun barrel on my face.
We eventually learn the first cop shop radioed the cops (who were on duty) not to get off train until they are in North Sydney and sober.
One copper ended up going away - the one with the gun. The others sacked.
You wanna know for how long I was harrassed and stopped by their mates?

I agree, sometimes warnings are more effective than fines because you can see how close you got to being caught. If you're smart enough to not push your luck twice, you'll be more careful. If you get a fine, you'll be pissed off and probably not learn as much as the government wants you to..

lol you think I could get a royal commision into the college avenue burnout? I'd like to think that the coppers safety is no more or less important than mine. I'd like to see crimes against police classed as treason. Lock the brick and bottle throwers up for a long long time. But that doesnt mean they can crash into me by being a dickhead. If anyone else did it, they would have lost their car for 3 months.
I dont think its right to say that you can break safety laws (U turns at traffic lights) while trying to enforce safety laws (speeding). The police car should do what I have to do and go up to the next block and loop around. Likewise, I feel its a bit rough that a paddy wagon is allowed to travel through the 40kmh zone at a conservative estimate of 55-60 when his mate in the patrol car is pulling people over and fining them hundreds of dollars for the same thing.
If I am caught doing the wrong thing I am happy to accept the consequences, and have done several times in the past though they were a long time ago. I've lost my licence before. Sweet, I was a bad boy, even though I think I was harshly dealt with looking at how others sail through the courthouse. No problems with the red light camera my wife got caught with even though she cant remember it. What I dont like is different laws for different people.

I hate it when ppl don't know how to indircate on a rounabout. Example they are driving straight ahead at the roundabout but they put their right flasher on then don't put their left when they leave, when they should not have put the right one on at all and only their left one on after the last exit before the one they want. only when you are going past the straight ahead then you flash right, then left after the last exit before the one you want.Or if you are turning left you flash left
before ppl jump up and say I am wrong this is how I know out how to use you flasher on rondabout;
first I have done a Qld Transport Commercial drivers course
Secound I have just taken 2 teenagers through to thier licences and I checked with 2 Driver training schools and with a Qld transort tester,
and it is in the rule book with pictures sold by the Qld transport.

Cars ont he right also don't have immediate right of way. Only if they have entered the roundabout. No one should have to stop... if people slowed like they are suposed to then a car can enter from each point at exactly the same time...
the reason people dont know about rules (well, one reason) is that you have to pay for the rule book, unless you're computer literate enough to be able to search the internet or you can be bothered to search, and most people cant. Here's NSW (national) law (same as you said) only you dont have to indicate left if "it is not practical to do so". I wonder when its not practical?
