Oh by the way I dropped in to my mechanic mates shop this morning, just to start the bus up and run the Suby motor for a few minutes and give it a couple of revs. Did it just to start the day off on a good note. 🙂

now that its been abt two weeks for the paint to dry and harden - put the front beam back togetehr and on the pan. Now that I had the box rebuilt professionally (started it then gave up as I realised I was way out of my depth) put the gear box and shifter back on the pan. And if I have the time, try to put the brake hardlines on the pan.

Been out to the historic race meet at Willowbank.
What a top day...got to see to beetles racing...one in herbie livery with a 1200 went pretty well...ended up talking with the driver who was from Ulladulla...there was also a dark green KG which went ok and a couple of nice Porsce 356.
Highlight was either the GT3's or the Shelby GT 350 Mustang in full flight. All in all, a top day.
Better than watching your family commodores and falcons running around.
and Helbus there was a nice selection of EH holdens as well...they went hard but had a bit of trouble pulling up as a lot of the older cars did. A lot of cars over cooking corners and making good use of the run off areas.

Heh all......sounds like a fun day Kafer.😵
Had a fun night last night.Went to the footy with Dean(Grey57) & my team whipped his teams arse!!I now have a nice meal coming my way the next time i see him at a clb meeting!!We then went to the pub & i missed all the last train home by about an hour & a half so Dean being the gentleman he is(plus thanx to a cabcharge from his work!!)got me safely to my destination & then went on to his place.....we live nowhere near each other & the cab fare was $80......arghh!!(lucky his work was paying!!)had a great time & am off out again tonight to have vietnamese for dinner then onto see the band Eskimo Joe play so hopefully i'm up for another good night!🤘

Stevens been away up in Newcastle for a couple of weeks & i've been out both weekends both nights till really late & even been drinking a bit(not usaally a big drinker!!)I think he's starting to worry,lol,coz i'm usally a bit of a home body.I think its just that i've had lots of offers to do stuff coz Stevens away & everyone must think i'm lonely!!😉
