Gday guys nothing is sacred anymore last night we went out in my girlfriends car while leaving my newly restored 1970 beetle under the carpark at home. Car is in members rides under fireman bens car, well some less than desirable creater decided to try and break in and steel her. The hacks have chiped the car and damaged my rubbers. I am to say the least very upset has anybody had similar things happen to them. I just hope they don't return with newer idea's as they were unsuccessful in breaking in but successful in causing damage. All the best Ben Dickens "Harryman"".......:cry

Well yesterday the cocky little pilfering bugger tried to come back with some new and improved methods however he hadn't noticed that I was out and once he had looked up my drive he decided to run off. However one thing he didn't notice was that my nieghbour has pivoted his house security camera at my drive. So all I have to do is sit and wait and pretend not to be at home next time he comes and then great him with my baseball bat "just kidding". WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK I SHOULD DO APART FROM CALL THE COPS NEXT TIME HE COMES AND HE IS CAUGHT ON CAMERA!!!!! HOMOUR WILL NOT BE FROWND UPON.:crynn[ Edited on 10/8/2005 by Harryman ]nn[ Edited on 10/8/2005 by Harryman ]

I am really sorry to hear that. Have seen your bug in the members rides section and it looks awesome. It makes me so made that people think that they have the right to damage and steal other peoples possessions that they have worked hard for. I would like to CHOP THEIR HANDS OFF

It might be time to ad the type of alarm that was in one of those James Bond movies. I checks the fingerpints of the owner and if it doesn't match it will allow that person to get in the vehicle then the car doors alocked again and the car blows up along with the thief. I know some people might object to this form of alarm but hey that person won't steal your or anyone elses car anymore.

If the above is too grusome then another form would be that a device sends an electrical shock to the would be thief, not enough to kill him/her but enough voltage that might make them think.

MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that might not work either they were stupid in the first place

hey..i dont mean to sound sinical...but..seeings as you said its newly restored and all...dont look too far past acquaintaces also.

i only say this beacuse i knew someone who i was kinda friendly with...got real jealous of me and my family having some stuff.

and..threw a rock at my dub while i was driving it, (he was driving other way hung out window and threw rock at my car), he was very lucky i didnt crash because of it. he also keyed my brother R33 GTR skyline when he had it..was parked up on verge, in our area which is VERY respectable.(on our street houses have sold upwards of 800k+) and to anyone from perth ya should know thats a fair bit for perth. he keyed all the way down the side and it was a new balck paint job...the night after he kicked in the back of the bodykit and ripped of the spoiler of my brothers girlfriend of the times type r civic. and then ended up getting a restraining order put against me cos he claimed he was afraid of me.

i mean..he had every right to be afraid..what would you do if someone did that all to you? they were 3 nice cars (ok so the dub aint classy) but an R33 GTR and a type r CIVIC.

not on.

I'm so sorry to hear that about your gorgeous Beetle, Ben.
It sux that someone would want to do that, let alone when it's in your drive way!

But, atleast they'll get what's coming to them 3-fold. I believe in that rule. :P

i think the best way 2 protect your car from being stloen is a fuel cutoff switch!

pretty easy install too!

Unforunatly that won't save your paint 👎
