it is a bit or a ratter but for $500 i cant complain at all. its got a recon 1800 and box new shocks( 9 months ago) and new brakes.

well the new kombi ownership came to a spactacular end at about 8 oclock tonight. my newly aquired and butifull bus now looks a little bit sad and sorry, with a big dent where the passenger used to sit and a lot of grazing on the drivers side. i dont know exactley how it happened but i managed to hit a parked car whilst driving down the road at 60kph and rolled the van straight on to its side then slid down the road for about 30m. the bus is a compleat wreck, but the engine and other bits and peices are still salvagabull. so if any one is after any parts drop me an e-mail. at
driftmonkey@hotmail.com, just want to try recooperate some of the loss and get a new one. im just haveing a shit of a day as my bus also got brocken into this morning and they stole my brand new surf board and the keys to my other car. it has become probably the morst day of my life so far. i think that im just going to go to sleep and hope that tomorrow will be a better day....

ouch town dude, the loss of the bus and sticks will be lamented by all of wollongong for a long time.
keep your useable parts for the next bus, sell the rest for scrap.

what type of car did ya hit. i bet you made some mess of that also. i remember when i had brake failure in the splitta and grazed downthe side of a bommadore. carved it up real nice.

Here is your pic,sad to say but you are right about one thing for sure, it is history.
The good news is you are OK by the "sound" of things.
If the motor is good and some of the other parts are OK you might be able to recoup your money and start the search again.
Next time why don't you take it to a mechanic and get it checked over for things like brakes and fuel lines.

yea it is pretty nasty, i ran through a vk commonhore, the commi is a lot worse off that the bus is. its about a foot shortes and about 4 inches taller. there was nothing wrong with the bus mechanicaly, an i would have been able to stop if i had seen the car but the reality of it is that i didnt see it at all. but a big shout out has to go to a bunch of my good mates who have in a few days ralled a bit of coin together and are looking for a nother bus for me all ready, that we aer going to do up as a group. an this is from poeple that are into import, rice burrner cars. it just goes to show that a volksy toches a lott of people in a lot of different sceens.

the blue bus will indeed live. the new shell sould arrive within the week and then the work wil begin to transfer everything over. hopefully i will have it ready to go by october long weekend for my trip down to yourks.
