I rang around several VW Shops today for prices on a new 34 PICT 3 carby and was quoted prices ranging from $250 through to $640 whats the story here? Is there a few different quality carbs on the market or are they all the same as obviously the $250 carby is the direction I'm heading in but I just wanted to know if there is one better than the other???????
Cheers

yes and no on the quality of carbs. just make sure to stay away from the brazilian ones as the casting is very porous and tend to have fuel seep problems and cracking.
