Must be the stainless steel/chrome (whatever it is) variety. Not interested in the black plastic ones as I've already had one and they suck.

Sick and tired of losing my caps so if I have it attached to the key I cant very well leave it on the roof huh.

Is this for a late bus or an early (behind the flap set up)?

For a late ebay kombi. The urgency is over as I managed to pull apart the plastic one and remove the tumblers from the lock (cant find key) so I can use that temporarily with a screw driver as the key, even though it leaks a little.

But still on the look out for an original style locking one.

People in germany must have been honest. Why did vw leave engine compartments and petrol tanks unlockable???
