Recently bought another Kombi... 71

The shifter feels quite sticky, it goes into gear, just about.... but just feels a bit stiff and sticky....

Havent driven much at all, engine is out at the moment.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Could need new synchros. If you undo the coupling at the rear where the shift shaft goes into the box, and then try the gear lever. If the gear lever feels real loose, then the tighness must be in the box. If the lever still feels stiff, then there may be a bent shaft or clogged dirty bush up the front (I am not being rude)
