I should have posted this a long time ago...
just a big thanks to lee (buzzbug) for lending me his spare when i desperately needed it on the herbie drive in run. you really needed to see how bald my tyre was before you could believe it.
after a very helpful penrose noted the sparks flying from my front left, i was seriously considering getting a lift home and leaving poor kikko in the streets of campbelltown until i could buy new tyres or get it towed. then out of no where super lee came to the rescue with his spare and i made it home again. i inspected the car in the day to find that the other three tyres were almost as bad.
having returned the spare on saturday reminded me to thank him publicly. just goes to show that a common stud pattern can really get you rolling again.

when we left the bass hill drive-in , we headed for crispy creams @ lumea . Kikko past Lisa and me at a rather rapid rate with what has to be described as the best fireworks display since new years eve . There was sparks flying from his left front tyre as the steel belts flapped against the road surface . Quite spectacular but not very safe . Lisa was very eager to inform you kikko in her natural concern for your safety . cheers and I bet it drives better now with new tyres . the tyres running were retreads, and while my wheels were out of alignment, i took the tyres back to where i bought them and he agreed, and in reuturn for the faulty rubber he gave me a set of newies. i didnt think that balding would be a problem considering i had bought the tyres 3 weeks before the cruise.
did anyone happen to catch any photos of it?

Well in "SUNNY" nowra I am on an SF water jump course.
we did our swim test in 9degree water yesterday and were blown out today, so we will be jumping tomorrow instead.
