Here's the thing....

Through my experience with this board, as sad as it might be to some of you... No one here would have put their hand in their pocket to buy that thing for as much as the crusher gave him for it...

Plenty of you might email, some might call, a few may go around and tell him everything that was "Wrong" with it and how much it would cost You to repair and tell him stuff like, "It's not really what I'm looking for", or, "Have you got one in another Colour"..??? Someone might break a few bits off it, (in the process of "Looking"), but No One would have Bought it.... And at the end of the day, it would sit there and rust away, till next time the crusher came to town...

Get over it.....

The plot thickens, this bus was discovered 15 years ago by all people my brother Adrian!back then I wasn't into barndoor's but a good mate was...the owner won't sell it because it was used as a storage shed for get it ..'fencing wire' at the back of Kenthurst...ridgey mckinley stripped the old girl...get this the owner moved it 6kms with no running gear to another site less than 1km from my house. it sat here foe another 13 years...his mate looked after the barny and fencing wire until a few days ago when finally old Vic decided it was cheaper to buy a garden shed than transport it to the southern tablelands where he has relocated too.The reason why the bus was decommisioned all that time ago was due to bad workmanship...the gearbox was rebuilt and the crown wheel was fitted incorrectly so it had 4 reverse gears..the engine was yanked out and left to rot. In steps brother and P>mckinley, the gearbox was reworked to find the crownwheel wrongly fitted...story solved ..we all thought after ridgy stripped the bus it was crushed as the owner sold the property a few years later..funny how some things turn around...I think it escaped the crusher a couple of times...barndoors are like cats? cheers dsk steve

I appreciate that many people get farked around by tyre kickers on here - but selling an old bay and selling a Barndoor are like chalk and cheese! Its like an old Suzuki motorbike compared to a Norton - cant be compared!
