Speedo Cable Removal? (Split Bus)

I want to get the speedo cable out my bus, as it goes through the under dash self, so I figure it must need to be thread down and trough and into the brake assembly. So I need to take it off the brake assembly end to thread it back through. Is that right?. I want to get the shelf off so I can fix it.

G'day,
Yeah, you pretty much answered your own questian. Feed it back through from underneath, with the d/s inner panel removed and the cable disconnected from the speedo, draw it up and out.
