....sitting inconspicuously under a tree behind a shed. The question is what is in the shed. No one was home when I knocked on the door. I will try again.

Oh bloody hell the piccie didn't attach. I will have to work this out.
Anyhow, it is a late fifties split behind a shed under a tree in SA. Very ratty, but restorable.
Any tips for attaching a pic.

Putting the ratty paint to one side, up close the bus looks fairly straight. Usual rust issues in the nose and the sills. I suspect there maybe issues with the cross members as it is sitting pretty low to the ground. I think the roof was ok.
It looks like it has been pillaged for parts, no headlights, tail lights, original seats missing, no engine, no wheels or bumpers.
I will attempt to get in touch with the owner of the property in the next few weeks and see whether they are willing to offload it. I am curious to know whether or not they have a better one in the shed. You never know.

Another one in S.A...does 57 kombi know of this one?
"-Hannovermetalmadness-"(Infectious desease with no known cure).
57 Kombi probably doesn't know about it. It is in a pretty obscure spot.
I have sent a friend out there to try and do a deal with the owner. He has the time I don't, plus he lives nearby.
