That's right, for once I'm not asking a question. I'm doing a little bit of show and tell.

This is my drivetrain jack thing that I built.

It uses 3 scissor jacks precisely positioned and angled to cradle the transmission and two points on the engine mount bar.

The reason for the angle on the left jack is that it fits nicely in with the angled part of the heater box.

The transmission jack is positioned the way it is because the back wheel would get in the way of the jackhandle otherwise.

The jack consists of:
7 ply plywood salvaged from my old desk.
2 bits of pine for extra bracing.
3 car scissor jacks.
4 castor wheels.
bits of a cut up bed base.
lots of nuts, bolts and washers.

It fits under the van nicely. I haven't tried removing the engine/transmission though.
