Just a quick note to thank Mr Becker, Mr Muller, Andy et al., for recent advice on the longstanding search for something 'subaru' like, but with lots of seats for the missus. Either T3 or 4 Caravelle.

Boris' picnic turned up a 90 Caravelle, with all the goodies, so partly because it is a very very nice bus and partly because I'm over looking, we bought it, and quite happy with it.

Definately appreciated the help, comments and advice on here, as I had not idea what I was looking for originally.

For the purpose and time we need it, it's will do very nicely indeed. Dropped it at Indain for a service and safety check today, so hanging out to go for a drive later.

Oh and not sure of the guys name (I'm crap with names), but the nice fella in the T3 in The Flat Four Club can rest easy, I won't now be hassling him out to sell his anymore. Loved the DVD players by the way. Thanks for the tip off on Sunday.

Cheers

That guy would be Steve with the silver "Voodoo Bus" as he calls it. Hassle him about something else now, everyone in else in the Club does anyway :P

Good to see you got a T3, I'm sure you will be very happy with it, my wife loves ours, great for kids too.

If you need any parts, I have a wrecked one in the back yard, not a lot left, but you never know.

font grille eyebrow, clear front indicator glass and smoked rear indicator lens please....and then the possible list.

Need electric mirror -nob-/drivers seat plastic 'handle' extension, drivers sear recline 'handle' extension(lever?), one 'heater' nob and a couple of rear door trim clips.

Everything else is there and works. Dead happy so far, though Indian didn't get time to service it today....but should be fine from the way it goes. If you've got them little items, then let me know....cheers....and post some pics of that Crew Cab....

good to see you commit to a t3..these are the old school build vw buses....tough and strong..the best tip i can recommend is run the baby on hi-octane unleaded....this keeps cylinder head temps lower and avoids the cylinder heads cracking...returns better fuel mileage and a little more boost up some of the inclines...most t3 parts are still available from your local dealer if dave can't help...you may need to wait for 10 days or so if vw doesn't have them in stock...stuff arrives on a regular basis from germany, cheers steve

Will do for now.....now back to the splitter, as I've got side tracked......even started thinking 90/91 Gold Gti 16v today....need to take a good look at myself....and get a focus....
