hi,

thursday night was my formal .... and since ive got the soft top, me and 2 friends (plus sister driving) piled into the beetle .... finally arrived out at hunter valley gardens and smelt smoke ... thank god dad saw the smoke, ran over and ripped out the seat in time and put the fire out ... talk about sh!t myself. luckily we got it out before it did too much damage. there was a wire under the back seat that had been cut by movement in the seat, which then sparked until causing the fire.

moral of the story ... be careful!!!
