Just got myself a fastback. Its been twenty years since I owned a volks: numerous beatles, a manx and a couple of kombis.
I couldn't help myself in bidding on this toy on ebay and suspect it is going to become a bit of an obsession.
Is in good condition and unmolested, 1600 Injection, only downside is the auto. Soon replace that I suspect.
I am looking forward to tinkering with it; it appears this board may be a good source of advice.

Hey there, welcome! I'm new to the forum too. I own a 74 L Beetle Convertible, which is currently in the panel shop getting a face lift. I've bought some of the parts from Ebay. It's addictive, but u can sure get a bargain. Like your funky new wheels! x

Welcome and you are correct...........fasties are addictive! Rebuilt ours (it is an auto) and sold to daughter. What colour is yours? Looks like a yellow? Ours is/was 'wattle'
