The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent bombings; the level has just been raised from 'miffed' to "peeved'. Soon though, the levels may be raised yet again to "irritated' or even " a bit cross".
Londoners have not been "a bit cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies all but ran out.
Terrorists have been re-categorised from "tiresome" to "a bloody nuisance".
The last time a "bloody nuisance" warning level was issued was during the great fire in 1666.
Be aware that the French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "run" to "hide".
The only two higher levels in France are "surrender" and "collaborate".
The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralysing their military capability.
It's not only the French that are on a heightened level of alert.
The Italians have increased their alert level from "shout loudly and excitedly" to "elaborate military posturing".
Two more levels remain, "ineffective combat operations" and "change sides".
The Germans also increased their alert state from "disdainful arrogance" to "dress in uniform and sing marching songs".
They have two higher levels, "invade a neighbour" and "lose".
Finally the Welsh have gone from "pretend nothing's happening" to "make another cup of tea". Two higher levels of alert exist "remain resolutely cheerful" and "win".

We had one of the girls here freaking out about her new BF moving in with her.
We explained to her not to leave her shampoo and conditioner on the floor or not to leave her loofer (spelling) hanging on the tap as it all becomes a target for men in the shower...if you no what i'm talking about.
Needless to say she came back in the next day telling us she bought a shower caddy to hang of the shower nozzle. We suggested she should hang it off the roof as we're always up for a challenge.....:duh

its a bit hot here for this early in the summer, but its not too bad. Was only 20% humidity at work and reports were of 50% in Bris itself. So was hot, but not as sweaty as 75%+ humidity like Darwin etc.

Fleur and I can do a pretty sexy salsa now, and the more rum you consume, well - you know.
We also got into dancing to reggaeton, which is like a Spanish/ reggae/ techno/ hip hop mix that really gets hot. The way to dance to reggaeton is to do what is known as grinding. That is hot, especially with latina chicana's. Everybody grinds everybody, and the rum flows, and the grinding gets hotter.
The Afro-Cubano music is really cool too, with some really hot Afro-Cubano girls that move like you have never seen. J-Lo is tame compared to how these chica's move.
When we got back, the cat, the Beetle and the Bus were all still home, so nothing had changed. I will be finishing the bus this weekend, and driving it home hopefully if I am happy with how everything has gone.
I give Cuba a big thumbs up.
