Well yesterday i thought i'd give my new kombi its frist trip throught maccas drive through (first of prolly many) and my usual trick of putting my drink in between my legs on the seat didnt work!!! as as soon as i lifted my leg for the clutch it went all over the floor..Horray!

So i spent a good part of 2hrs cleaning the front floor out.

Anyways onto the point,

Anyone put cup holders in their kombi???

Cheers
James

These hold two cups pretty well.

👍

Now we just need to find an aussie supplier then i'll buy the type 3 one..
They look like a great idea... I wonder what diameter cup/bottle/can they hold? I can't see any dimensions mentioned on that site.

a piece of 90mm stormwater pipe mounted next to the brake m/c works a treat

Yeah i had cup holders in my kombi.. just buy them from supercheap or somewhere like that..not expensive i dont think.. and attachted them to the air vents.. came in handy on long trips!!

We've tried the ones on the air vents... we kept knocking them while getting in and out because they're kind of in the way, we'd broken both by the end of a 5-day trip.

The foldaway ones from a marine/boat place sound interesting, I'll investigate that some time.

Cut some 90mm pipe and stick it into a block of wood and leave it between the seats... nice and easy... sur edoesn't look the best, but you can hide it when not in use...
