We have a baby on the way due in January so I have finally started to think about fitting bay seats to my 76 camper. I am concerned that the rear seat/bed will tend to fly forward in an accident. Probably wouldn't be a problem with an adult sitting there as they would weigh more than the seat. Has anyone tried to restrain the seat? I can think of a number of ways of doing it but they could involve lot of work so it would be good to get pointers from someone who's gone down this path already.

I read through the archives and found that a couple of forum members have installed baby seats in their campers but I couldn't find mention of the moving seat problem.

TIA

see my post for my 72 Bus for sale, you'll see a bay bar in the back....they cost about 400 fitted by someone like littles. You have to have one in NSW for a capsule or child seat, not a booster. Don't mess about, get one. They'll also fit tensioners to the non-retract seat belts in the back. You can't stick kids in the middle or front seats in chairs or capsules....unless you're mad....

Thanks for the advice! Aren't they a pain for loading stuff in the back and for clunking your head on in a camper?
