Today there was an incident that even though I am known to be fiesty, I shocked myself. Kevin (my boyfriend) and I where stopped at an intersection waiting for the green light. The light changed to green and when Kevin stepped on the accelorator the car didn't move. Putting the hazard lights on Kev said the cable must have snapped.
The guy behind us who was on a motorbike beeped a few times and rammed his tyre into the back bumper bar.
As soon as I heard him yell something I stuck my head out of the window and yelled 'Can't you see we have our hazards on a**hole?! Go around!!'
He drove around giving me the finger and muttering something on his bike, so I enthusiastically stuck my finger out the window at him. When he saw this, he stopped just past the intersection and began to get off his bike.
By this stage I was very angry and got out of the car, slammed the door extra hard and yelled to him 'Our accelorator cable just broke, what the f**k are we suppose to do you a**hole??'. Kev lifted up the bonnet and the guy just got on the bike and drove off! I was so mad and had then just realized I had an audience of about 20 cars and a few people on the sidewalk.
I was a little embarressed but glad I said my piece. I always try and be patient and courteous on the roads and that's all I want in return! And that's the little drama that happened to me today!
he he , well said. Some people have just got no patience when they have to divert or be held up for what amounts to a millisecond of there little lives, they also forget the last time they broke down and someone did the same to them. I bet he shit when comfronted by a angry female confronting him.....LOL. He would be one of these guy's who has never been on the receiving end of a woman's tongue lashing.....
I know if my wife got out he would have needed to get back on his bike and get the hell out of there

must have been the day for road rage. we went shopping and one of the joys of having a baby is that you can get a park in the parent with pram section. well this women who had no kids what so ever took the last park and as she walked past the Kombi i let it rip and she said there was no law about parking but i just said something about being considerate to families with kids and the like but she just kept walking so a few more words flew then my wife continued on and as she walked into the shopping centre about 20 people just stood there staring. it just ticked me off

I did the same once... cause i was driving around the carpark for 45mins and the beetle was getting really hot.. when finally i found a park and some stupid b**tch stole it.. i beeped my horn continuously behind while doing the finger, while yelling out the window what i thought she was!!! I didnt think i could get that mad either but theres times when people are rude enough to tick you off!!

Thanx guys! And I am seriously considering changing my name to fiesty fuchsia
It was the day for roadrage. That morning we also saw a pulsar sedan try and merge into the right lane and almost hit a bike. His mate was riding behind him and flew up next to the sedan and starting inching closer to the car and tried to kick it! It was a very strange day.
Oh and I think that guy will think twice when being so impatient next time!

Some people are so weird and selfish. Stand your ground, but don't belittle those potential wacko's in public - they can turn mean.
He definitely was an a**hole. Someone ramming in annoyance/impatience is probably ready to make trouble. Probably needed a bit of pink floyd

thats gold , gotta love a bit of road rage . you would think with the extra care we take looking out for motorcyclists whilst driving they would appeciate a small delay
bloody adrenalin junkies

Ramming your car was a shit of a thing to do. No respect at all for your car.I am acy=tually embarrassed to being a motorcycle rider myself. We get a bad enough run as bikers without dickbrains like that.
A few years back I had a guy come and bang on my roof at a set of lights. I was just driving along in my beetle...if somewhat enthusiasticly...at the time. He knock on the window a few times and told me in heated terms I should look where I was going. To this day I still have no idea what I did or anything. I just felt really bad coz whatever had happened he was really freaked out. He looked more scared than angry. Anyway, I spose the point is, make sure you are not the cause, and if you are just say sorry, even if you are not sure it was all your fault. Only two weeks ago, one guy ended up with a fractured skull in Sydney, coz he decided to "discuss" who was to blame in a traffic incident. Always better to smile and make up I say. And if you do have to correct someone, at least be polite, I'm sure you'd like the same. That's my angle anyway.
As for people who park where they are not supposed to be and then ignore you...You could always let their tyres down and leave a polite note telling them not to even think about doing it again. Harmless, but they'll get the point. 😉

Its especially bad when you get people behind you... who dont want to get stuck behind a "slow" vw and are tailgating ect. when there is plenty of room for them to overtake in the right hand lane and ur doing 10kms/ph over the speed limit anyway!
So i end up slowing down to about 20miles per hour and watch them get even more angry, solves the problem and they get the msg.
As a learner still, i get a lil' road ragged. Just flying comments a flicks of the hand though. Nothing to psyko. But its usually in situations of busy traffic when some idiot decides to not use an indicator (with impatient pricks behind ya who are beeping despite the obvious L plate), and therefore u need to wait to work out where the bloody hell they are going (like on road abouts).

Hey I've been to Cuba. There is no such thing as road rage there. If someone cuts you off, you just think about the rum you are going to drink, and the chicka's / latino's you are going to be dancing with that night.
Life's too short to discuss road politics, especially in an emotional way. I just shrug my shoulders, say sorry and drive on.
I know what you mean about just shrugging your shoulders and not provoking any violent behavior, I have seen so many bad things on the news about roadrage recently. But that day everything just seemed to go wrong and that was the tip of the iceberg!
Normally I would let it go but that guy just infuriated me when he rammed the bumper. Makes a good story though! hehehe
I so wish that I had of seen that ! Good on you! Some people make me embarrased to be human

maybe we should all go to cuba and chill with rum and chicka's... i'd like that a lot right now.
I have disabled parking and tend to get ticked off with people who think that I shouldn't park in a disabled spot because I look "normal", if they just asked they would know find out that I have bone cancer. You can look "normal" and be very ill at the same time.
