Anyone know a place in Brissy, pref southside, where I can get some repairs done on an exhaust muffler?

I need a new tailpipe welded on, a hole sealed and a new joining rose welded on.

Anyone?

Cheers!

i took my bug to that exhaust place right on the round about at stones corner to have the tailpipe welded on. its a big red building, you cant miss it.
they were fast and did a good job, not too expensive.
in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

Hey Mark - how is the square going....and still collecting bits for the oval??

Anyway, I had my exhaust made at custom exhaust specialists (www.cesracing.com.au) - they will most likely not be cheap, but I can certainly vouch for their quailty of workmanship. There are heaps of other exhaust places though that can probably do a good job as well. Sorry can't help for those recommendations.

I went to an Exhaust Place in Ipwich Rd, Rocklea- just behind Nelsons Exhaust (Neslons just do trucks) on the right heading outbounds towards Ipswich. They fixed a hole in the mufler on the golf real cheap and quick. If you ring Nelsons they will give you the number.

Thanks all of you, very helpful.

Yep Al, still going on the square and collecting parts for the Oval. Been away from the scene recently for a few reasons,, just getting back into it again, time to do some work! Getting the exhaust fixed and engie running is the first. Then I go onto the interior and other bits and pieces.
I need to finish off reading about your bug! I think you were just fitting the new wheels when I checked last, shame on me!

Anyway, hope to see you around fella!
