Guys and Gals,
I have been looking for somewhere that sells cured/treated furs, pelts and hides. Im after a real Australian cured fox tail to hang from my aerial.
Any suggestions on where i can get one from?
I think it will be a perfect exterior accessorie for my bus.
PS this isnt an invitation for animal rights libirators to put there 2c worth in.
foxes are vermen in this country, so I can't see the problem
shop/stall on the way out to the Blue Mountains (Sydney) they sell ugg boot, cow mats. Or old second hand cloths stores that sell the whole fox skin that goes around your neck, you just cut the tail off.

I have a couple of foxtails in the shed that I cured for exactly this purpose. What's one worth to you?

Plenty of dead-uns on the side of the road, and as far as I can tell,,,,,, They aren't using their tails anymore...🥷

But how, exactly, does one cure a fox tail after its been chopped❓🤪

I wanted to do the same as some restocal mates back in the UK run them and was thinking on where i could get one. However..............
There has been alot of greif involved , lots of comments and even some cars getting damaged over hanging one of these off your aerial.
Personally i think there's no harm in it but i had a re-think and gave it a miss. Don't want to come back to my square and find someones scratched or kicked in my pride and joy.
Maybe only use it for shows and crusing, may be safer ????

My previous foxtail was removed when my car was parked in Box Hill one day, along with half of my aerial. :cussing
