G'day All,

Does anyone have a figure on how many Beetles were produced in total, from 1939 to 2003. Needed for one of the kids doing a Uni assignment.

Cheers, Ian.

Thanks for that, I knew the figure was high but wasn't sure.

I've got 5 kids, 4 of them are girls, and they've all had VWs at 1 time or another. 18 months ago the whole family were driving VWs incl the Father inlaw. Three of the kids still drive VWs, the middle one has the EMPI Splitty, Rhett (PHATBUG) drives a '74 Bay and has many projects, and the youngest has a '63 Beetle and a 2000 2ltr Golf Rallye (Black). At one stage I was looking after 9 registered family aircooled VWs.

Cheers, Ian
