can anyone help need one clear lense for early type three

A candy coloured clown they called the sandman tip toes through my room every night just to sprinkle stardust on my pillow go to sleep everything will be allright
1967 Type 3 square
1956 double door panel
1968 single cab kombi

Dont bother tryn to find a VGC near new old one for stupid amounts of money.

I'm fairly sure www.typethreedetectives.com had some late clear lenses...

Hi All,

When someone finds a detective that can get Type 3 Detectives to reply to a customer order please let me know.

I have contacted them a couple of times for stuff and never get a reply. Should I take it personally?

using these till i find the real thing for the karmann they beat the hella trailer lights that are on it now get in line puto what do you need them for rens car?

Hi Caffeinepusherman,

I have some excellent clear lenses left from my Karmann Project a couple of years ago. The 64 Ghia's had these as standard ie the same nipple lense as the Type 3. Earlier Ghia's had the smaller nipple lense with the bezel ring that went over the top. They look similar to early split Kombi but not the same.

$50 the pair if you want the nipples, they are nice and hard too.
