Hi Guys........... could somebody please tell me what rules I am breaking on this site/forum by asking questions??
I do NOT recall reading anywhere that it is forbidden to ask questions on this site...... is there something I have overloked??:alien
Fifteen minutes ago I asked whether anybody else has noticed the disappearance of threads with no explanation and I cited a specific example of one that disappeared overnite.
Wo and behold within 15 minutes my thread asking the aforementioned question disapeared with no explanation or U2.
Is it a crime/no no to ask simple questions on this site??
Lets see how long this one stays up??:o

U got me curious....did U read my thread that was removed, and if U did read it......did U think it contained anything "OFFENSIVE" and deserved to be censored or removed ?

I've looked for any threads which have been snaffled, and I don't see them. Do you have any thread titles?
About the only reason for threads to be moved to the Suspended Posts section is defamation or bagging other members or continual stirring the pot for no good reason. Trust me, you'll get plenty of U2U warnings when this happens. Buying and Selling areas are slightly different. Not posting a price, hijacking someone else's thread, or not otherwise following the buying and selling rules can be grounds for a thread or post to go missing without warning, although in the past we've generally given a few hours notice. Just ask habitual abusers of our service 🙂

Yes I saw it, and the only thing I could see was someone muct have thought u'd be stirring the pot regarding the original thread that went missing. But other than the question where and why did it go, there was nothing else I could see that would upset ppl.

The thread that was posted was inciteful and shit stirring for support of other idiots on this forum. It certainly was nothing like what is above.
What is it with people that they feel that they should want to create trouble in the forum that is a backbone for the very hobby that brings them on here?
The Admin and Mods do this for free in their own time - trying to keep the air clean so that others who are really interested, can do so in a non-threatening environment.
Everyone can partake in the drivel and fun, but at least do it in a way that is respectful to others. Sheesh.

Your "removal' criteria used to be related to defammation and sexual references unsuitable for an audience that crosses all demographs..
Now you have broadened it to those that spread inciteful and non-contributory remarks.. Do you really want to go this far?..

This again. It always comes back to this. Only the dribblers with 17 million posts can speak. If you are loud enough and talk enough even bullshit is gospel. Some of the rudest people on here are those with several thousand posts. Over the last few weeks we have seen the spite, agro and spinelessness of many of these. How quickly they lose their temper. How quickly their only response is to attack the person. How quickly they edit other people's posts to remove evidence of their wrongs. How much some people always have to be right. How some people are experts in their own mind but don't know what they are talking about. Shame shame shame.
