Hey guys, I will be away for a few months as I am heading over to the US, UK, Spain and then India for about 2.5 months total. I get back somewhere around early feb so I will miss most of summer 🙁 but I will have my first real winter christmas 🙂 Anyone else here been to India? (there must be some hippies on a VW forum!)

I will be having farewell drinks on Friday night at the Covent Garden Hotel, 102 Hay St Chinatown @ 9pm (right on the corner next to the big gate at the end of Dixon st) in Sydney.

Cya (don't leave till Sunday, only a few more sleeps!)

Enjoy the adventure Jon - my friends just got back from India not long ago, they loved it (living on the coast though) - comfortably lived with accom, 3 meals and drinks for around $20/day each. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

hehe yeah, the ETA for the car is about another year or two now 🙁 Although I can always build the car later and I wont be able to travel for the rest of my life 🙂
