Hahaha awesome! Love the colour.... 😀
hmm, seems to me the owner might be a bit special. Have to say though, that is a good angle chop. It would make a great drag car. Not sure if that much of a chop legal though. definitely not worth 3.3k

there's a new sensation hitting town,
It's moving straight, low to the ground,
it'll pick you up when your feeling down.

happy car for yuo bring luck to your family🤪
i contacted him via email, and asked him a bunch of questions, he answered 1/6 of them and this was his reply
"this is a drivable car, a 5 years project, technically it is a new car, becasue it hasent been drive on the road when it ground, engine is reconditioned. It is the only one, unless someone duplicate it, everyhting is man made for this car, including the front screen, it need interior which I am making for it, and the time from a person who put them back. if you are not a VW expert, I dont recommended you buy this car, becasue I dont want this project went to some one who is careless."
Now does this guy think everyone is completly stupid or what?! firstly that engine looks far from reco, looks like it hasnt been run in a very long time..maybe reco'd 15yrs ago
i am going to reply now asking why he ignored my questions and sending him this link

this one seemed ok, he answered my q's
"Thank you for your link, the one that u showed me is a early model, not a superbug, remember mine is 72 superbug, no rust at the outside floor pan, but cosmetic rust on the rear passenger side floorpan, I still thinking shoudl I replace it or I should spray it as the same color as the shell, in term of the picture that u sent me, when u look at it detailly, you will find my screen even smaller and feel like some one punch it from the top, I disconneted the host from cap to tank as I dont want to cause any explosion , therefore no fuel in the tank, engine was recondition before the project started, quite a while ago. if I relace the forrpan, this car will be completely new. You need nothing to put it back on to the road except the time that u sepnt on the work to put interior back. The rear, it is a fat bottom, the guards are extra fat. you can imagine you see some obese people from there back, or a Mcdonald Big Mac. Feel free to vist the vehicle as I suggest you should inspect it. The car parked at my Beetle warehouse, so I wont take any more photos until I finished my exam. And I will start my work on it during my holiday. Thank you again for your interest."
Do you guys buy his story?

Well it certainly isn't the same car. Anyone that confuses a superbug and an early needs glasses.
As for the car. Be wary of slant chops. They are the realm of those who do a half arsed job. if the can't lengthen and widen the roof as required by a full chop then you have to worry where other corners have been cut.
$20k eh ! What a twat 😂
"If i had to explain you wouldnt understand"
The Lower Class
there is a red bug around the corner from me with a similar roof chop
it's been around for about 10 years or more and registered
also anyone mention Rod Penrose's drag bug......roof chops even lower 🙂

i think maybe someone should show him vwhood, or even greedys ratrod, both have better roof chops. sure they aint on a slant, but i'd feel a lot safer in either one of those cars than that thing.
complete bar interior??? its missing a freakin headlight! not to mention a decent engine...
I guarantee it will win all the VW competition around the world...
if i buy that thing and fix it up and it doesnt win every competition in the world, is he liable and shold have to repay my wasted money? hope so!
Hey Hel-70
send the guy another email asking him if the car came from newcastle originally, or if he got the car of a guy called Robin Parker.
If he did, then yes, the window is lower on the passenger side and he got it for $150.
I really think this is the same car, because i have only seen 2 other supers with chop top roofs, and this was the only one i had seen with the slopping roof.

I asked, his reply as follows:
no, i bought from original owner, who done the project, basically the car is new, I am going to replace a new floorpan if I cant sell it. so I cant provide enay paper work because it hasnt off the production line yet, thank you.
Would he be able to get this thing registered?

I called him before and asked few questions previously about the roof and funny thing was he has a technical camera which distorted the look of the roof,to top it off he said he had been guided from Vintage "MMMMM"
Guess they saw him coming LOLOLOLO
