ADF Northern Area Show and Shine

To be held 25 Nov 2005 Robertson Barracks Darwin.

The show is being held to promote road safety to Defence and Civillian personnel, over the Xmas period. This is a first for defence but not the last.

Starts: 1200
Judging commences 1300. (1pm)
Finnish: 1500 (3pm)

Open to all classes of cars and motorbikes.
Over $3000.00 in prizes to be won.

All entries are to be onbase and ready NLT 1230.

well we do have a couple of caribous at work at the moment.

i am sure they can put the course on hold for a day or two.

Onya guys, I ended up getting forth place (I was robbed, lol). Over all it was a pretty good day with 38 cars and a dozen or so bikes and a heap of display cars.

Unfortunatley my camera speared in about 5min into the day. So keep and eye out in Navy and Army news.

1st EH seadan
2nd 1954 chev
3rd EH Ute
4th 1969 Karmann Ghia
5th 2001 Hummer

The total prize pool for first ended up blowing out to $4300.00

A great day was had by all, which means it will be bigger and better next year.

and why did I have to pick last week to get sick!!!!!
Wonder if we can get one for Sydney????? I am sure RAAF Richmond would look good with cars all along the hardtsand (or along the wharves down on the harbour 😉)
